I love the candid non-posed style of photography and that includes the fun, the mud and the chaos that comes with photographing families and kids!
We can go to the park, the woods, your favorite place or even your garden - when family and children are having fun, it shines through in the photographs - so don’t worry if there’s face pulling, belly laughs or not even looking at the camera, it all adds up to fantastic natural images!

Hi, I’m Ruth and I’m the one behind the camera!
My photography started some 13 Years ago after having our daughter and having time away from work - this developed a love of candid and relaxed family photography for both our little family as well as friends and their kids.
As time went on, we started spending more time in the hills and mountains of both Lancashire and the Lake District where my love of the outdoors, hiking and a discovery of landscape photography developed. I love spending time outside, taking my time to create images that can bring back wonderful memories of the hills and surroundings.
As well time in the hills, I still love the candid creativity and fun of telling a story for a brand or company - especially when they combine all the things I love in life!
p.s. I also have a slight obsession with alpacas and llamas as you may see on my site! Don’t worry, I also take photographs of lots of other things too!!
